hi, i am alejandra (alex)
what i do
an amiable software engineer who creates accessible and high-performing web applications within cross-discipline design and product teams.
currently, i work as a frontend developer at the Vera Institute of Justice, where i support the director of web strategy with expanding and improving Vera's website. my responsibilities range from creating content-based templates and refactoring vanilla JS to ES6 (modern javascript) to developing new features for a platform that reaches, on average, 140,000 users per month.
